How caregivers use the Voxetu dashboard to monitor daily health

When someone you love loses the ability to speak, one of the hardest parts is not knowing how they are feeling day to day. Are they in pain? Did they sleep well? Are they anxious about something? Caregivers spend hours guessing — or asking yes/no questions one by one, hoping for a blink or a nod.

Voxetu's caregiver dashboard changes this completely. It gives families and professional carers a single place to see exactly what the person communicated, how they are feeling, and whether anything needs attention — without being in the same room.

What the caregiver sees

The dashboard opens at a glance view — sessions today, words communicated, average pain score over 7 days, and today's mood. In 10 seconds, you know whether it has been a good day or a hard one before you even pick up the phone to call.

Below that, every communication session is listed in order. You see the exact message, which mode it came from (keyboard, blink, breath, sign language), and the time. If your family member signed HELP I need water at 3 AM, you see it logged as 🤟 HELP I need water · Sign language · 3:14 AM. Nothing gets missed.

Pain and health at a glance

Each time the user logs their pain — a number from 0 to 10 and a location — it appears in the caregiver dashboard immediately. The 7-day chart shows whether pain is getting better or worse over time. One family in Hyderabad noticed their father's pain spiked every Tuesday and Wednesday. The pattern turned out to match his physiotherapy sessions. Without the chart, this would have taken months to catch.

Daily check-ins

Every morning the user completes a 30-second check-in — mood, sleep quality, and pain. The caregiver dashboard shows this before the morning call, so the conversation starts with real information rather than guesses. If no check-in has arrived by 10 AM, the dashboard flags it with an alert.

Location tab

For elderly users or those living alone, the dashboard includes a live location tab. As long as the user has Voxetu open on their phone, their position updates every 5 minutes on a live map — with last seen time, GPS accuracy, and battery level. Caregivers at a distance can check in without a phone call.

Who can see the dashboard

Only people explicitly added to the care team can access the dashboard. The user controls who is invited — family members, professional carers, speech therapists, and nurses can each be added with their role. Nothing is visible to anyone outside that circle.
